Character creation

OK, so you start to make your adorable little Avatar of you in the world of Monato Esprit. Awesome, now choose your zodiac sign[Please choose wisely, because it will influence your fate system and your character in later updates.] We do know it has something to do with the fate system.

Official ME Fate System Description: Fate System The Fate system has never been introduced in existing games. Going beyond merely enjoying the game, the player's luck is determined according to the Fate System. The game progresses with a partner destined by fate, further strengthening community ties. A soul mate system plays matchmaker and helps build relationships.

What that translates over into your game playing fun, not a clue, but once they release the info I will be sure to let you know.

The description of each symbol seems to lead into the belief that they have something to do with your job class.

So when it comes to choosing, Pick your Zodiac, Pick your favorite zodiac, Pick the zodiac that has your class in its description, the choice is really yours.

What to do after arriving in game

OK, so now you appear in the game, awesome. You appear in Kai Falls Plaza, you can make your map bigger by clicking on the little magnifying glass. The map will be useful to locate NPCs and places of interest. First off you will want to talk to NPC "Harsh" and go through "Beginner's School" training. After you have completed "Beginner's School" go ahead down the stairs and talk to the female NPC "Chic" at the bottom for your very first quest called "Strange Birdian." Refer to Quest guidesfor help.

Getting to Level 10

Equipment! OK, once you're done having fun, look at your map and head towards the area labeled 'Blacksmith' The woman working sells weapons and the guy standing around sells armor. As for what weapon to select, the difference really isn't that major, you will be doing crap for damage no matter what. So either spend money or don't. As for armor, pick the one you think looks coolest I suppose. [ I advise not buying the red devil armor cause it has poor def.]

"I wanna' level up already, dammit!" Fine fine, you can choose 1 of 2 ways to do this. 1: Kill monsters relentlessly to level 10, and 2: Do quests until level ten and not so much monster bashing.

But hey, it's your game so you can do whatever combination of 1&2 that you wish.

If you decide the second one, run around town and collect as many questsQuest guides as you can, head out the west gate and talk to the old man by the house just out the gate, and do your quests. They give you a nice sum of EXP but for the most part I choose monster bashing.

If you choose the first choice, you will want to seek out an area with the lovable Keppa Family. Yep, freaky onion things that try to eat you. These bad boys will feed you all the way to 10. Why? Allow me.

Keppa: 10-14 EXP Keppa Fighter: 12-16 EXP Keppa Mage 14-18 EXP Give or take a few points here and there.

Now, compared to the bees and other assorted bugs in the area, Keppa give sliiiiightly less EXP. But, Keppas have half to less than half the HP of said bugs, and seem to have less Defense and Evasion. Nifty!

Keppas and Keppa fighters usually have about the same HP, give or take 20-50 here and there. Keppa Mages usually have about double Keppa Fighters HP so I usually don't hunt them, on the up side is they seem to get hit more often.

So find yourself a nice camping ground with 2-3 Keppa, try and get fighters or normal. And have fun, generally you will never have 3 of them dead at one time so 4 isn't needed, but if you find a spot with 4, good for you.

Have fun slaying them, it can get a little boring because it's the same monster over and over again, but it does seem to be worth it. Plus if you can find camp ground, it reduces running times from other mobs and quests =3

I have also noticed that the area in the very bottom left corner has more Keppas than anywhere else out the west gate, but the damned things try to run more often there than anywhere else. If you go out the south exit of town, you can head into the vineyard area, it's a decent Keppa hunting ground as well.

Now I bet you're just itching to know where they are. Well, you can find them via the south and west exits of Isildra, the starting town. They normally spawn in the little indents made for the crops so just cruise around until you find some. On the map to the south, I would stick to inside the vineyard, where the actually vines are, also on your map *clings to map* it's always there in our time of need =3 I found there to be a nice sum of Keppa around the inner edges of this vineyard, especially to the left hand side. I will have some screen shots next time I go on for all of you to marvel at.
